If between sizes, choose the SMALLER size to prevent slipping. It allows controlled movement — it does NOT immobilize the joint. If your vet prescribed full immobilization or a hard cast, this is not the right product.
THE ANCHOR STRAP IS THE KEY TO NO SLIPPING: The belly anchor strap is the suspension system that holds the brace in place. It MUST be pulled firm — if it’s loose, the brace will slide down. For male dogs, cross it diagonally to avoid the genital area. Proper anchor tension is what keeps the brace working during movement.
ADJUSTABLE NEOPRENE FOR A CUSTOM FIT: Made from breathable, lightweight, machine-washable neoprene with adjustable hook-and-loop straps. The medical-grade neoprene is built to sit snug at the mid-thigh and provide steady compression and support around the knee/stifle joint.
