Recommendations
The dog will be a little overwhelmed and fearful during the first 2-3 days of use. To resolve this issue, we recommend a 30-minute break-in period followed by a 30-minute break. Reward your pet with treats and encourage them to play with them. Increase the time each day until they can wear the brace for up to 12 hours.
Back braces are not suitable for all-day wear. You can wear the brace on your dog for up to 12 hours a day. However, remove the brace before your dog goes to bed at night and when taking long breaks.
Use our back brace while walking your dog or during high-intensity activities and play
What if my dog doesn’t like it, or doesn’t walk in it?
Please do note it is common for a dog not to love a brace like this. We recommend a break-in period of 30 minutes on and 30 minutes off. Reward the pet with snacks and encourage them to play with it. Increase the time each day
How often should my dog wear the brace?
Our back bracer is not intended to be worn all day. You can leave the brace on your dog for up to 12 hours a day.Please note that our dog back brace are not meant to replace your veterinarian’s crate rest period.
Can the dog wear it to do their business freely?
Yes, our braces are unisex designs that won’t get in the way of your dog going to the toilet
Can this brace help dogs with IVDD?
Yes. It helps support the back, reduce excessive bending and twisting, and improve stability during daily movement. It is a supportive aid, not a replacement for veterinary care.
What if my dog is between two sizes?
If your dog is between sizes, choose the larger size for a more comfortable fit. Please measure neck, chest, and back length carefully. Breed suggestions are for reference only.
